Hala Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Hala application and services (the "Service") provided by Hala ("Hala", "we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the Service.

2. Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account information up to date.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose risk to the Service or other users.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, abuse, or harm others.
• Send spam, scams, or misleading content.
• Use the Service for illegal activities.
• Attempt to access accounts or data you do not own or have permission to access.
• Reverse engineer, disrupt, or overload the Service.

4. User content

• You retain rights to content you send (messages, photos, etc.).
• You grant us a limited license to host, transmit, and display your content solely to operate the Service (for example, delivering your messages).
• You are responsible for your content and the consequences of sharing it.

5. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy at /privacy.

6. AI assistant (Ask Hala)

• The AI assistant provides general information and guidance only.
• AI outputs may be incorrect or incomplete; you should verify important information.
• Do not rely on the AI for medical, legal, financial, or emergency decisions.

7. Third‑party services

The Service may display information from third-party sources (for example weather, holidays, places, or notable events). We are not responsible for third-party content or availability.

8. Termination and account deletion

• You may stop using the Service at any time.
• You may request account deletion from within the app settings or by contacting Askhalaai@gmail.com.
• We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required for safety/legal reasons.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hala will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above.
